The Tap Tavern has been so called named since Mary and Tim O'Neill took over in 1974. The pub Is still managed today by Mary and Brian, her son. The pub still retains it's character as a traditional Irish pub. The Tap tavern has many items of memorabilia on it's walls and around the pub. Also a twelth century well was discovered accidentally by builders back in 1999, when working on the beer garden. The Tap Tavern is now a world famous Tradional pub in Kinsale and Ireland.

The Spaniard (pictured right) has had a advantageous
view of Kinsale for hundreds of years. The Spaniard is so named
after Don Juan Del Aquila, who led the Spanish Armada with nearly
4000 men to join forces with the Irish to fight the English, which
took place back in 1601. The pub has a restaurant and bar that
does excellent food, especially the local seafood. It is also very
popular for it's live tradional music. When Michael and Jimmy play,
they are especially popular evenings. |

The Bulman (pictured left) is located at the bottom of the hill near Charles Fort. This bar and restaurant has a maritime feel, and has lots of memorabilia around the pub. The Bulman has been a pub since 1901, and has seen several generations of tourists and locals visiting for food and drink. When the weather is fine, the Bulman is a great place to spend some time. Many visitors sit on the wall near the car park and enjoy the panoramic views of the harbour and the Atlantic.

The restaurant has a great seafood menu on the first floor, and also serves modern Irish food. The restaurant has seating for over fifty diners and families are allowed before seven o'clock p.m.Food in the bar is available from Tuesday to Sunday from 12.30pm to 10.30pmThere is usually live music from Thursday to Saturday. |
